Core Web Vitals measure how fast and stable your site feels. You do not need a rebuild to improve them. These quick wins usually move the needle within a week.
1) Reduce your largest image weight
Your LCP is often the hero image. Export it as WebP, keep it under 200 KB, and set explicit width and height to prevent layout shift.
2) Replace auto play media
Remove auto play videos and sliders in the hero. Use a static image and a play button so the page loads fast and stays responsive.
3) Defer heavy scripts
Move analytics, chat, and embeds to the end of the page and set them to load after interaction or after a short delay.
4) Fix cumulative layout shift
Reserve space for images, iframes, and embeds. Add consistent spacing above the fold so the layout does not jump.
5) Limit web fonts
Use one font family with two or three weights. Set font-display: swap so text shows immediately.
6) Trim the home page sections
Remove long carousels and large galleries from the home page. Link to deeper pages instead.
