The most common problems are usually small, but expensive.
A weak homepage, confusing service list, missing location wording or poor mobile layout can quietly push visitors elsewhere. Most people comparing trades businesses are not studying the design in depth. They are looking for reassurance that the business is credible, nearby and easy to contact.
If they cannot work that out quickly, the site stops helping and starts getting in the way. That is often why a trades website can still feel busy online but produce fewer enquiries than expected.
